Synonyms are a fundamental piece of any language. Being able to explain yourself in a variety of ways is crucial to an individuals education. In this version of Black Rabbit Dice players roll 5 dice and look for two dice that have a name or component that begin with the same letter. For example if I have a picture of a boat piece of pizza and a garbage can, I might see that a garbage can could also be called a garbage pail. I would pick up those two dice and shout out the linking words "Pail" and "Pizza" and roll them to reveal two new pictures. If the two new pictures reveal a ghost and a lightbulb I might see that the ghost and boat have the letter B in common because a ghost says "Boo". This person would receive a point for each of those connections. As a group you can decide how far you can push the limits. Players may also choose to push creativity to another level by including adjectives that explain the pictures. Typically adjectives that are not specific to the picture are discouraged. For example Wonderful would not be a way to describe a picture because it could be used on all or any picture.
