Okay everyone, let me tell you about Black Rabbit Dice if you are a little bit unfamiliar. I saw story telling dice for the first time in a little boutique in San Francisco. I wanted them so much but was appalled at the price. I looked to see if a cheaper option existed but they were far too limited to their purpose. If I was going to spend money on these I wanted them to be something that I had around and used quite frequently and in a lot of different ways. I came up with Black Rabbit Dice. Black Rabbit Dice are whatever you want them to be. If you are an artist and you can't think of something to draw to practice your skills then roll one of the dice! Games can be made up fairly easily on the spot. I was really hoping to get kids out of their shells and using their words. I am really hoping that this will help kids and adults develop skills of speaking, rhyming, articulating, and imagining.
Please don't let the game suggestions on this site hold you down. Just the other day someone emailed me and told me that they forgot what games I had suggested so her and her kids made up a game. I almost cried I was so happy. That is what these are. They are a tool to dream, a tool to play, and a tool to make you and your kids better!
